Hello. My name is Love Pacheco. I was born and raised on Hawaii but am now enjoying my new home here in Palm Desert.
I have worked for the Department of Education in Hawaii for the past three years as a part time preschool teacher and an educational assistant for middle school. I also worked as a tutor, study hall liaison, and creative arts instructor for the past two years for UPLINK an after school program for middle school. My experience includes children of various ages, and also with special needs.
My favorite subject to assist in is, but is not limited to, math. I have also worked with clients on their Reading and Writing skills.
My availability is:
- Monday: 3:00pm - 7:00pm
- Tuesday: 3:00pm - 6:00pm
- Wednesday: 3:00pm - 5:30pm
- Thursday: 3:00pm - 7:00pm
- Friday: 3:00pm - 6:00pm
In my spare time, I enjoy singing, dancing, and painting. I have an associate’s degree in liberal arts and plan to further my education while persuing a passion to help families achieve their educational goals and hopes for the future through tutoring. I am on actively involved on as a youth and music leader and love community outreach projects. I am so grateful to be on the Learning Lights team and hope to help children grow in their academics and learning.
