We know you have a desire for your children to achieve all they desire to be and dream of. You want them to find their own sense of achievement and grow to be successful in their lives.  They want to have fun and be able to feel successful. 

 

Every child has a different style of learning, strengths and weaknesses, and challenges to face. Learning Lights can help you and your child identify strategies, focus on strengths, provide hands-on activities, encouragement, and develop a plan for individualized support that will increase personal success.

Homeschooling Services

Homeschooling parents may need extra support with curriculum activities, challenges, and ideas to meet the learning needs of their child. Learning Lights can help you ...

 

  • Develop and setup your curriculum program
  • Assist with assessment & documentation of your child's progress
  • Evaluate & provide alternative instruction to enhance your child's achievement
  • Provide tutoring support for your child in various subjects needed
  • We can meet once or twice weekly or simply monthly to enhance your program and support your child's success and achievement

    Special Needs

    Your child may be experiencing difficult challenges in learning or has been identified with special education needs. Learning Lights can help you with strategies in learning, behavior, and academic challenges to create progress and success. 

     

    If your child has a developmental challenge, we can provide support by identifying methods to enhance your child’s growth and their home learning environment.

     

     

    We can explain and help you understand the IEP process, or as an advocate attend your IEP or school assessment meetings. At home, we can show you ways to increase your child’s skills and learning. 

     

     

    Consultation

    If you need educational support for your child, we can provide strategies, ideas, and advocacy for you and your child to improve their learning, school and homework performance, focus, and achievement.     Tutoring - Reading     

             My seven year old son has been struggling all year. I tried to help him in numerous ways but was making no progress. I felt as though he needed someone who could help find the best way for him to learn. I knew that if I could find someway to help him learn then it would start coming together for him. Learning Lights was that "someway ". I was hoping to see results by the end of the school year but instead I started seeing results after his first visit. His tutor went right to work on assessing what he needed and the best way to teach him what he needed. His self esteem has improved more than I could have ever dreamed of.

            Reading has always been his biggest challenge. My son is in first grade and when they started, about 2-3 months ago, he was reading at kindergarten level. His school has tested him every week for the last month and he is reading at least at first grade seventh month. I received his report card last week and saw an improvement in all areas of learning. I know that he would still be struggling if it wasn't for the help he has received from Learning Lights.     Tutoring - All subjects, homework, reading, special needs

     My son began tutoring with Learning Lights in November. Right away, I could see he enjoyed working with his tutor and saw immediate improvement. I have hired tutors from several well-known companies to help my son with his struggles in all subjects, learning concerns, his homework, and with his confidence yet Learning Lights has made more progress than any of them and in less time. By mid-December he had already made significant progress and gained confidence. I have Learning Lights work with his homework in all subjects, give him reading instruction, and attend parent - teacher conferences and meetings to support his progress at school and at home.       Heather
